I have some infiltrators to nul deployment...the Rhinos and Razors can Scout...which is nice for the grav to throw out a ton of shots first turn protected by hull points. I pop a tactical Doctrine and all the grav is twin linked with most re rolling on vehicles to wound. Prob throw Chaplain in a pod with an asault squad. Thats 3 flamers there. Its a lot of obj secured here inc dreads/pods. The LSSx2 gives a big bubble to stop some deep strikers from being accurate. I'll get some games in soon and hopefully this is a tough list. Might not be the killiest of lists but when you see that many things on a table with obj secured it's a tough nut to crack.

Ouch!  That's a ridiculous amount of scoring units.

Make a dirty list so we can try it out when I get back. I'll drive to you.

hoping my list is tough also against a battle company...honestly I expect to play against one at least once. Whats you list look like?

67 infantry, 15 vehicles, all objective secured...I approve.

It will most certainly be a very tough nut to crack and I like that you brought more than just grav spam on your heavy weapon loadouts. It's definitely top tier and I'm sure it will perform wonderfully. Play testing will show if there's any need for weapon swaps. If I had at least one suggestion, I'd suggest making one of those devastator squads a full grav squad and give the hunter's eye to your chaplain and toss him with that squad. The hunter's eye is a White Scars artififact found in the Kauyon supplement and gives the bearer +1 BS and gives himself and the unit he is with the ignores cover rule for a cheap twenty points. It's absolute money and I highly recommend it. You will want that ignores cover against re-rollable RW saves, anything that gets shrouded, or a Wraithknight with a toe inside ruins...I think you see where I'm going with this.

I haven't seen the Kauyon supplement to be honet...the dev gravs is only 24" so for them to be mobile i thinks a waste....on the ml's might be worth it though...ignore cover blasts the way to go...even plasma cannons? Anyone have this supplement I could borrow? ... after my vaction I am gone for a week as of tomorrow.

Well, you could take a command squad on bikes, load them with grav guns, put Khan and a Chaplain with the hunter's eye equipped and watch as this unit puts 12-15 ignores cover grav shots on a highly mobile platform with a potential FnP goes and clears those high priority targets like nothing. the hunter's eye works best when used with grav Centurians (tough unit and they also have amps) and though it is possible to bring a squad of three with an eye wielding character in a drop pod, it requires a CAD to do it.

The most important thing is that you take the hunter's eye on something and whether it's a grav cannon or a lascannon, you will not regret the choice. I also have access to the Kauyon book and have a copy to use for the tournament. Well, Jonas is actually the owner of the book but he's one of our partners and I'm positive he'd bring it for you to use. No problem.

Problem is it's expensive to do. Dropping the both LSS both dreads and thier pods and I still might be short slightly on points to do so. I played around with a bike squad and I just couldn't fit things in... I thought what I did was more important than that...Remember I already have 48 grav shots that will be scouting and shooting turn one with re rolls to hit and 66% of them re roll to pen.
