This is the list you played in our last game, wasn't it? It's a superb list. I totally love that you have your own "special rules" for these guys. Especially since you apply them when it really wasn't helpful.

I can't wait to see more of em painted up 'cause the conversions are excellent.

It's very similar: drop pod instead of the rhino and 3 more marines to the Death Company. Was the special rule not refusing a challenge?

That'd be the one.   If you hadn't accepted those challenges I think the rest of your terminator squad would've finished off my Lord and been free to cause havoc.

Oh!  And you were right about disembarking.  I've been playing it wrong.  Sorry 'bout that.

What was the disembarking? I completely forget what the ruling was.

Also, I'm really excited to play tomorrow. I've got the list all ready (though with some minor tweaks: gonna try an Icarus Lascannon on my Aegis).

Your memory of the rule was right.  You put a model in contact with an access point and then move up to six inches away from the transport.  The kicker is that difficult terrain rolls are made as appropriate.  That's where I messed up.

That aside:   How'd the Icarus work out for you?

(Reply to #5)

I really liked the Icarus: the quad gun's definitely better against light aircraft and probably most MCs, but against armour 12 stuff (heldrakes, valkries) the Icarus is the way to roll. Also, I don't have a lot of anti-armour right now, so the Icarus helps on that front. I'm going to convert one up when I get the chance.

I may have some las cannon bits lying around if you want them.  They're from sponsons and/or razorback kits.

Thanks! I may too, but I'll let you know if I need one.
