Or really any model company. Do you know what would be really really really helpful? If you could publish PDF files that contained outlines of the armor plates of the various models (specifically vehicles, but shields and stuff would be cool too) that we could use to a) use as templates for cutting out decals and b) practicing painting (and applying decals).
I spent this evening trying to create a decal template so I could cut out a decal to fit the shape of my renegade knight's shin armor. Ultimately, I ended up cutting out more than I really wanted too 'cause the original template made from masking tape, transferred to paper and then used to cut out the decal ended up being not quite perfect and so I lost some of the decal. Boo. Granted. Not your fault. The decals that come with the kit are superb and fit the model great but I was looking for a specific effect. Specifically I was hoping to have "chaos writing" all across one half of the shin armor. It'll work. I'll be sorta happy with it.
Anyway. I think it'd be grand if you offered something like that 'cause it'd give me the tools I need to craft really excellent looking models more easily.
Thanks, GW for the best models on the market. I'm a fan.
