I am especially excited to interview Lyn Stahl from Metalhead Minis. She was a great supporter of the Golden D6 and the #Spruegrey Nation’s own Full Metal Valkyrie.
What age did you get into painting and what started it off?
I was 17 years old. I was introduced to minis by a friend who was a Dungeons and Dragons DM. He showed me how to paint the figures and I was immediately hooked.
What was the first model you ever bought/painted?

What is your favourite aspect of painting?
Teaching and sharing the hobby with others. I also love painting during thunderstorms and snow storms. =)
What are you working on right now?
Commission for companies and private clients. Busts, A Space Marine army, A Dust Unit, etc.
When you are not conquering the tabletop, what do you do?
Spending time with family, working on projects for myself from my own collection if/ when I can.
Which of your armies is your favourite?
My Ultramarines with Legion of the Damned (Warhammer 40K)
Secret painter or loud and proud?
I think that everyone would agree that I am pretty loud about it, I would say I am pretty proud of it also LOL
Any hobby tips or cheats to share?
Always have fun with it, otherwise what’s the point?
Always look at tutorials/ take classes about the same subjects from different artists. Especially if it is about a technique that you are struggling with. Different people have different perspectives on different techniques, one of those perspectives might click with you.
Why do you do What you do?
Because it makes me happy. Painting makes me happy and sharing the hobby with others makes me happy.
How do you Work?
Constantly LOL. Oh you mean *how* do I work =p If I am not streaming or podcasting at the same time, then I am usually painting/working with movies, shows, and music on in the background.
