Howdy. A quick post to display all those last minute additions to my painted model family for 2018. Last year I managed a review of the year, not sure I will achieve one this year so this may be a slight nod in that direction too. Firstly, here are completed toy soldiers; Imperial Preacher After recent games I've noticed that my Catachan troops aren't all that bad in combat with their strength of 4. Give them a preacher and they get an extra attack so doubling their effectiveness. Giving them the order Fix Bayonets improves their shit-kicking ability even further. So a bloke with a sword and...
Ahoy, Commanders! Santa and the Birthday fairies were super kind to me this year. I scored the Blackstone Fortress box and the Plasma Thermic Regulators. They've been added to my stack of uncompleted models and I gotta say it's kinda of daunting. So many projects need to be done. One of the things my sweetie uses to inspire her is a thing known as a 30 Day project. I've done one before and it was pretty helpful so I'm going to go ahead and spend the next 30 days doing at least one thing to move my terrain projects forward. My goal, at the end, is to have made some serious progress on my table...
Finishing up the second warband included in the Warhammer Underworlds: Nightvault box, Stormsire's Cursebreakers. In Part 1 I painted up the other warband included, Thorns of the Briar Queen. Much like the Thorns warband these miniatures are very nice looking. I also appreciate the unique bases that are included and specific for each individual model. They look great and add a nice touch...

It's a fun little game and the miniatures from Games Workshop are top notch and really fun to paint.First up is Thorns of the Briar Queen, one of the two warbands included in the the Nightvault set. These painted pretty quickly and look great with minimal painting effort.Part two will be up soon with the other warband in the box, Stormsire's Cursebreakers...
Greetings people of Earth! It's been a few months since I put some painted models on here but now I'm back! 2018 was shaping up to be one of my most productive years ever as far as painting models was concerned (well it was back in July), then I got caught up playing games and writing batreps so the production line ceased. I played a few games of Killteam which were great craic but as my Stealers weren't painted up I didn't feel the need to report them here. I may do, but not today. Aeldari Support First up are my Aeldari. Two support weapon crewelfs, two Aeldari missile launchers and a...
Gaslands is the brain child of Mike Hutchinson. He is a gamer and modeller who started writing wargames at the tender age of 15. In Gaslands, a dystopian, post-apocalyptic future (that all good sci-fi settings should have), the year in 2018 and the Earth has been occupied by Martians for 19 years. Earth is a ghetto. All money goes to Mars. While some resent those that betray their fellows to work for a Martian corporations, many simply cannot afford ideals. Television continues under the global control of The...
